Default R/Me or R/Mo

I've decided my fourth and final character will be a ranger and I'm debating whether to make a R/Me or a R/Mo. You see, my W/Mo is my most played character these days and I've become quite partial to three things:

1.Having +3 mending on myself during my solo farming (which I do alot and quite enjoy)
2.Having Balthazar's Spirit on me to give me adrenaline and more importantly energy much faster than +1 regen.
3.Utilizing a weapon with +15% while enchanted since I like the control it gives me more than +15%>50% and I always have mending on

For those reasons I was leaning towards a R/Mo, but alot of people seem to like the R/Me as a solo farmer. In particular, the build for getting to and farming the Ice Imps is of particular interest to me, not for the IDS since they'll be long gone by the time my ranger makes it out there, but for the other rare items and plain items that yield alot of materials they drop. Is a R/Me worth it for this instance or can that formula be applied to other mobs as well? Or should I just go with a R/Mo since I'm so used to it. Thanks for all opinions/suggestions

I'm not sure you want to build towards ice imps as aprt from the IDS i don't think they are a perticularly fruitful drop wise, rune farming ettins or turning your hand o griffons would get you far more.

I thnik traps are a common ettin farming build and theres a thread somewhere around here for it. not sure about griffons butt probably along the same lines.

If i was you i'd decide which creature i wan't to farm adn then try to develop a build soley(sp?) for that purpose.

Mending and balth spirit rely on you getting hit to be useful, ideally as a ranged character you want to have done a crap load of damage to them before they get to do any hitting, thats why traps are normally the way to go as you can blind and cripple them plus do a lot of damage adn then finish them with your bow as they move towards you.

I haven't had much ranger farmin expoerience as mine is a relativly new character so i am only going by what i've seen others say.

personally, I'd go with R/Mo. More versatile, not just for farming, but for other things too. Having Rebirth in a UW trapping group helps a lot. That, and with Barrage and a short bow, you could *in theory* reproduce your W/Mo build, more or less.
